I have been constantly on the go for the past couple months... Between Eryn's infusions, doctors appointments, physical therapy appointments, hospitalizations... I'm just PLAIN worn out!

We had some good news about Eryn... she can stop her infusions for now. It seems as though her kidney is doing really well and she is holding her own.

She just stopped her summer school today and she will start back at regular school on August 18th... FULL TIME! It will be her first time back in two years! She is excited and nervous at the same time.

So... HOPEFULLY, I will be able to find some more time to scrap now!!!

I haven't scrapped it weeks (make that months) and I feel like SUCH a slacker!

Hope everyone is doing well...

I've just read your post in our OLD forum.
I am so glad that everything is going so well for Eryn.
I bet she's already counting down the days until Monday.

Hugs to you and your family especially Eryn.
Now it's time for you to take a good rest.

Janine

Thanks!

Yes, every day (at least 3 times a day) she asks me how many days are left until school starts!! LOL! She has all of her stuff together for her first day. She'll be late the first two days (Monday because of her blood draw and Tuesday because she has to see her kidney doc), but she is excited to make new friends and have fun!!

I talked to the doc today and it seems like she is holding her own. We are lowering some of her meds, taking her off of one and adding another for potassium levels. No infusions this week!! YIPPEE!!!

I also start back to school on Monday, so I am excited. I'll be taking Crime Scene Photography 1 on Monday and Latent Fingerprinting on Wednesday. I can't wait to get out of the house and have NORMAL adult conversation... although Eryn is pretty good at talking ABOVE her age level!!!

Riley will still be at home (he's only 1 1/2) so I have a while with him around before Pre-K. He'll keep me company during the day!

I hope to be able to complete more stuff now that I'll have more time on my hands... It got pretty bad after her last hospitalization... real busy!! But I hope things will be calming down a little bit!!

:)
